In 2011 I purchased Kings Royal Tears "Mandy". This mare has been my rock for years. I have owned many horses in my life and she has by far been my one in a million horse. Hello, my name is Kaelyn Marchand and I purchased this mare from Davenport horse sale almost 7 years ago, that came from your ranch. Since then she has become one of my main rodeo horses along with being one of my favorites. She has the most willing demeanor about her and has done everything and anything asked of her. She does a little bit of everything at this point and I cannot wait to see how she continues to progress. She is still fairly green when it comes to roping but continues to get better and better.

We bought a 2007 gelding "Kings Tuf Okie Star" out of Teresa's Okie Star x Kings Tuf N Royal from you back in 2010 at the Cowman's Kind Bull and Horse Sale in Madras, Oregon. We absolutely love him.
We have done everything with him and nothing can bother him. He loves our 6 year old daughter and take such good care of her. They can gather all day or play all day with her friends. My husband has also started using him in ranch rodeos, and he did very well.

We absolutely love both lines Dandy Derby and Kings Tuf N Royal as we have purchased 8 horses from the King�s at The Cowman�s Kind. Regardless of which stud the horses come out of they all are quiet minded, learn quick at a young age, very cowy, and have lots of endurance. We've noticed with Kings Tuf N Royal added to the Dandy Derby mares you not only have a horse that works great on the ranch and in the hills, but that their is more athletic and has quickness specific to being an arena horse. The Kings Tuf N Royal horses seem to naturally want to stop with their hind end better. We're making head, heel, and calf horses out of all of the horses we've purchased and they have worked great. We bought a mare from Wade & Teresa in 2005 with a filly foal at foot, and was in foal again. We knew nothing of the Kings bloodlines at this time, but felt the mare and foal looked fabulous. We have never looked back since. The mare produced another filly, both of which have turned out to be the best horses I have ever had the pleasure of owning. They are smart, have the best temperaments, have great conformation, and are so willing to learn. They are now three and four. The four year old I plan to show. Totally sane and level headed. We bought Royal Bo Moon (Beau) by Kings Tuf N Royal as a weanling in 2003. He got himself in some pretty "tight" situations as a colt and he literally stood and waited till we helped him out. When he was two, we had 30 days put on him and went right to the hills. In his third year he had some roping training and roped everything that can be roped off the back of a horse. This year he started showing the grandkids the mountains from the back of a horse. Obviously he is a very trusted member of the family to pack the grandkids. Beau has always been kind, sensible and easy to catch. He is the same every day, not complicated, sure footed and always willing to work, no complaints. I bought a King Ranch horse, I call Raysin, as a well-started 3 year old. Now 7, he is a sure-footed, cowy ranch horse. He isn't a very big horse, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for with heart. Whether I'm out in the rocks and badger holes, in the brandin' pen or team roping in the arena, he is ALL business. I bought a 3-year-old gelding last year at the 2007 Cowman's Kind Bull & Horse Sale from the King's. After getting him home, on the second ride I was roping calves outside to tag them. Then took him to 4 brandings last spring and have been gathering and sorting cattle off him since then. He really watches cattle and travels good outside, he is a using kind of horse. He was a very quick learner, very gentle with great conformation. He is super cowy, we started roping on him within a month. Now he is a finished head and heel horse, along with working on our ranch.
